dude, I know how that goes. Writing 3 papers (actively, many others in queue) and working on a dozen different projects, many as a PI or Co-PI. Does the speed of work ever slow, doubt it. What's worse is waiting on others to get their act together so that things can move on.
I will be making team versions of Gauntlet 2v2, 4v4 and any other combo I can come up with but I have to wait for team starting scenarios to be implemented. I'll invite you to the test games when that happens.
Hey Cisco! What a contrast. Over at DeadFish you could e-mail admin 'til your finger were numb with no response. Yesterday I e-mailed Wargear admin and got a peronal same day response with an offer to help further if my problem wasn't resolved. It was a good day also since my final game at Deadfish finally gasped its last sorry breath. I kid not, the last game survived 3 system failures.
Maybe we should all go back to Warfish for one final game and use it to market Wargear. We could name games this way "Have you tried Wargear.net" and of course, message away steadily. I agree, more traffic here would be good.
Hiya, Cisco! Long time no see! I've wondered where you've been hiding, and now I know! Lots of great warfish players have been haranguing me to join this site, and ASM and Norseman finally got me to come here. However, I am disappointed by the relative lack of traffic on this site compared to WF, so I continue to play around 25 games at a time or more there while also playing about 5 at a time, here. I like the better graphics here, and I like that a lot of the maps that are on both sites are "new and improved" when you get here. Still, I'm racking up medals left and right on WF (finally) and here I'm starting from scratch, so perhaps that is another reason why I still do more there. Still, I miss your competitive spirit, invite me to a game here anytime, I'll join you!
